I graduated college with an English Language and Literature degree and recently got my masters degree in Literature. I love my family, and my faith is the central part of my life. I love reading, writing, and especially classics–classic literature, movies, plays, music. You name it. Jane Austen has been one of my favorite authors since I first picked up Pride and Prejudice in high school, which may explain my many posts pertaining to her and her novels. This obsession also led me to become somewhat of an Anglophile (i.e. someone who admires England, its people, and its culture). If it’s possible for one quote to sum up how I feel about life, it’s probably this one from another favorite book and author:
“I’d like to add some beauty to life,” said Anne dreamily. “I don’t exactly want to make people KNOW more… though I know that IS the noblest ambition… but I’d love to make them have a pleasanter time because of me… to have some little joy or happy thought that would never have existed if I hadn’t been born.” – Anne of Avonlea by L.M. Montgomery
